Speaking for myself, this statement gives me the impression that if you were to get elected, you would only spend time addressing the child support issues and avoid addressing all other issues. Is addressing child support issues even in the bailiwick of a U.S. Senator? Are you going to be selective in performing your duties? If we try looking at the bigger picture then if I do win the primary then I will become a big news story and so would the issue of the Child Support because that issue is thoroughly attached to my candidacy. Then if I actually went on to be elected to the US Senate in the general election then the Child Support would become a big issue nationwide because I and that issue are very intensely controversial. So it does not matter if it is in the line of duty for a Senator or "bailiwick" as you call it, because I myself am the one that decides what is in my line of duty and no one else. And yes of course I will be selective, and I expect that the ignorant Child Support system will collapse fast in front of me, but if not then I will have to invest more time in its demise.

Oh, I get it. Most politicians make the promise that they will represent their voters when they get into office and then we find that they lied just to get the votes. You are different from them in that you say up front that you will only do what you want to do and to hell with anything else the voters might need you to do. But I'm not too concerned since come April 4, we'll both crawl back into the woodwork until next time. What's next? A run for POTUS or something that will get you back in prison? Since you are so proud of your stay in prison, do you have plans of ever of going back? You just might be the first truly honest politician. Congrats on that. This is "blogworthy".

When people / voters do vote for me then they are voting for my campaign platform, and when elected then there comes my mandate to do as I have promised to do. I am the one asking for the job, and if I do get elected then I will have the hard work to do. The mandate is very much as like I have explained so many times before - that it is just one small point of attack as like a needle point, and that is what my mandate will mean when I get elected - to reform the Child Support system nationwide.
