How does one join the "Committee to elect J.P. Cusick"? How many members are on the committee at this time? That is an in-depth question. No one really joins a candidate's committee as one must be appointed. All that is required for a "committee" is the candidate and a Chairman and a Treasure, and having a committee is required under both State and Federal campaign laws. I appointed myself as my own Chairman and an old friend as the Treasurer. See link here = Federal election "committee" rules. Link here = Maryland election "committee" rules. I really would try giving you better links with the info but that is the best I can produce now. The "Committee to elect J.P. Cusick" could add positions as like a campaign manager or secretary and other positions, but people cost big money and I am running a low cost campaign.
