I see that as a mistake too for the Baltimore Sun main website, but I wonder if it applies to those using the BS forum too? It appears to mean only the website which might not include the forum, but if they do start charging for their forum then that would surely clean off a lot of the riff raff posters there. I like the idea in that when I become a US Senator then I will charge like $5 for life membership to join my new forum, so then that $5 charge would verify the person's identity for each posters and it would restrict any anonymous usage on my forum. Posters being anonymous here or on other forums is fine, but it would not be fine for a forum from the US Senate. I do not see why you (Thunderclapp) gave my hometown Southern Maryland link inaccurately, since you were referencing your own comment and then just linked to the opening of that thread. Why did you not link it directly to your quote as like HERE? You do that often when you quote me by giving an inaccurate link to the wrong location which I find unsettling. On that Southern Maryland forum and on that same thread I said this: " They [the Baltimore Sun] could have given me a price as in we Politicians could pay for our registration, because if the issue were about money then they would have made it about money." Link HERE. But they do not give me any price.

That was a mistake. I was actually trying to make a point about what I said about you not needing the Sun, and thinking in my head "How many people are actually gonna pay for reading the Sun online? Who needs them that much?" I clicked on the "permalink" like I always do and thought it would come out correctly. If it didn't, I don't know why it didn't. I think it depends on the individual page settings of the forum member because when I click on the link, it comes out correctly. I have my messages per page set to 40. That might be the issue, although I am not sure about that. My point is, when I click on it, it is correct and I did definitely not intend for it to come out incorrectly. It is also a problem if messages get deleted. I have seen that that makes the link incorrect sometimes. It seems that you might usually prepare your replies off line and paste them the next day. I do them on the fly and I have been way too much in a hurry/disarray these past few weeks and I guess I'm getting sloppy. Maybe I better take a vacation/sabbatical. What do you think? I think I will.

Please do tell how you learned of that Baltimore Sun change to its website? Did they send you an email notification? or some thing like that since you are registered on their BS forum. Or are you registered on their website too? or do you read the BS paper? I certainly never got any such notification. It seems that you might usually prepare your replies off line and paste them the next day. I do them on the fly and I have been way too much in a hurry/disarray these past few weeks and I guess I'm getting sloppy. What I often do is write my replies on paper and then later copy - type the words onto the forum. Some times I do quick and instant replies but I prefer writing some down so I can think it through first. But on my really big postings where it is well thought out and rather long then I will write it out on paper and then onto my Microsoft Word Processor and then when it gets done I will copy paste it onto the forum. The thing is that I am super slow at typing with both of my hands messed up and some of the forums would even disconnect me before I finished a posting which I hated that. The Baltimore Sun forum does that as it requires us to post fairly quickly (quick in my world) but I only lost a long posting on there once and never again. Maybe I better take a vacation/sabbatical. What do you think? I think I will. If you get a paid vacation then yes go for it. If you really want to be daring and bold then you can come down here and visit me. Come down for a tour of my "garage type apartment" and see the famous old Ford Bronco truck, and maybe do lunch? Of course if you came on a Saturday afternoon or evening then we could go out to the local Hollywood Bars and I will show you what the Country girls look like.

You ought to look into this "LetMeType" free software. It predicts the words you are going to type. Maybe if you used this, you might not have to write it all on paper first. I've never tried this particular one but way back before there was such a thing as Windows and Microsoft Word, my daughter used to use software like this when she was typing stuff out. www.clasohm.com/lmt/en/If you really want to be daring and bold then you can come down here and visit me. I wouldn't have imagined that you would ever want to see my mug in person.

That would be extremely interesting. I wouldn't have imagined that you would ever want to see my mug in person. It is true that such a meeting might be awkward or uncomfortable, but then maybe it would go well instead. It would be better if you were a nice looking female instead of an old goat.

It would be better if you were a nice looking female instead of an old goat. That is absolutely hilarious. I DO look exactly like an old goat. I've even got a goat-tee.

I am happy to see that you appreciate my dry humor here, but I did not know you would take the "goat" so literally. I had forgot to consider you being a musician so now I have another proposition for you. We here in Hollywood have three (3) local Bars and they are just small time small town Country Bars with fun people and they each will hire a band at some times but the bands are expensive for such small Country Bars so maybe you can come down here and I will introduce you to the 3 owners and then I will get to pick up on the stray female fans. I do not know what kind of music you play so it has got to be some music which the girls can dance to because the girls do want to dance and the Ladies do get whatever the Ladies do want. If you are expensive then this idea probably will not work, but if you will do it for very little then the 3 Bars can give you plenty of exposure and you can build up a better fan base down here in the woods. =============== Here is my Word Press page = JP-Cusick-Blog I did see that you already posted a comment on my first Blog there but it seems to have separate URLs for each Blog and I am not so sure how to deal with that yet. The Blog page does not give any profile info and I do not want me to be blogging anonymously so I made the 3rd Blog giving just my campaign website so to identify myself. It does seem to be a nice Blog provider.

I am happy to see that you appreciate my dry humor here, but I did not know you would take the "goat" so literally. Oh, I truly thought it was hilarious and did not take it seriously. I almost kept my real face because my son took a million pictures of me when I did that gig a few weeks ago and I was surprised at how old I looked. I was mostly accepting of my "older" looking self, but when I saw these pictures I was a bit disappointed. But out of over 100 pictures, I did pick a few that I will use. None of them will have the "Billy Goat" face, but instead will have the face of the genuine old goat. I would definitely consider taking you up on this offer and I thank you for it, but I am sure I would not be a fit for those places because the only "Country" music I ever did was old songs by the Eagles, Pure Prairie League, Poco, Firefall, Dan Fogelberg, and other similar '70's bands that did music we all thought was cool and didn't even realize that they were actually country music in the guise of "Folk Rock". Listen to Linda Ronstadt's "Heart Like a Wheel" album and tell me that ain't Country Music. I can appreciate mostly all music, but I am just not a country singer and the patrons would most likely throw tomatoes at me. And BTW, I didn't mean to hijack your thread and make it off topic.
